Petzl Spiky Update

As most of you will be aware, we were expecting a delivery ofPetzl Spiky ice grips this coming Friday. However, due to a Europe wide supply issue we have now been informed that we will not have stock again until the New Year. When we gave the expected delivery date we did so based on information provided by our supplier. Unfortunately when they received their stock, demand outweighed supply significantly.
We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause.

Cork City FC’s George O’Callaghan was on hand at Mahers Sports flagship store in Oliver Plunkett Street to launch City’s end of season sale
Back in August, Mahers Sports kindly allowed the club some precious retail space within a prime location in a joint initiative that saw the Cork company claim the title of “retail partner” with the Club enjoying the benefit of displaying their colours to a vast and varied passing trade.

All City branded items are now discounted by 25% or more, and will be available from Wednesday 3rd November onwards. Some fantastic bargains are available, with 2010 jerseys priced from just €30, tracksuits from €35 and sweatshirts from €25.

Whatever your running experience, inspiration or ambition, it’s important to consider your body’s running needs as a whole.

Mahers Sports Seminars offer advice on a host of running topics ranging from stretching and recovery, to tips on avoiding common injuries and wearing the right footwear. It’s about total running support for the body.

Run in conjunction with The Evening Echo and Asics on Wednesday August 25th, This Running seminar is designed to offer a personalised service where you have the opportunity to get expert running advice first-hand.

There will be specialists available on the day, such as an ASICS Technical Representative (trained to help you find the right shoe type for your running style, through a Free individual assessment) Peter Maher sports injury therapist & former Olympic Marathoner who will speak about typical running/walking injuries and Marion Lyons (St Finbars AC) Fit4Life Coach & Former Irish International who will speak on training and nutrition so you can get the answers to all your running questions. The aim is to help you improve your potential and performance.
